As we turn the page on 2022 and welcome the fresh start of a new calendar year, it’s a good time to reflect – not on resolutions necessarily, but on what might bring us joy and happiness.
For many of us, that comes in a home that suits both our family’s practical needs and our aesthetic sensibilities, serving as a place of calm and respite.
As the heart of the home, the kitchen plays a major role in both: a space that functions well and looks beautiful doing it.
Ann Webster had been working on her new kitchen through the fall, with the finishing touches in place just in time for the holidays!
Creating a refreshed space to greet the new year, the crowning jewel arrived last week – brand new countertops and sink from Granite Transformations.
“I wanted something light to go with my new cream-colored cabinets and granite is often darker,” Webster says.
Not only beautiful to look at, Granite Transformations’ etherium by E-Stone surfaces use quartz, granite and recycled glass engineered surfaces, with a proprietary polymer resin, to create surfaces that are heat, stain, scratch, mold and mildew resistant, explains April Peterson, Marketing Manager for Granite Transformations here in Everett.
While Ann Webster’s counters topped brand new cabinets, those who are retaining their cabinetry, appreciate that their new counters can slide directly over the existing ones, making for a quicker, easier installation without the time, mess and environmental costs of demolition.
An illuminating decision
For Webster, the first step was a visit to the Granite Transformations showroom which yielded a variety of possibilities for her new kitchen. Next, her sales person visited her home with a selection of samples – an essential step, she says.
“The showroom lighting is fine, but the lighting in your home is totally different. I ended up choosing a different countertop after seeing it in place,” Webster says.
“I’m so pleased with it – it’s just beautiful.”
With so many decisions and choices to make, the right expertise – and service to match – is also vital. In addition to managing a major renovation, Webster was also caring for her elderly mother, and the Granite Transformations team went out of their way to accommodate the unique scheduling requirements that brought.
“I’ve been in sales for 40 years, and that’s what separates you from the others. I would highly recommend them,” she says.
Locally owned and operated, Granite Transformations doesn’t sub-contract installation, Peterson notes. If you have any questions or concerns, you’ll be talking directly to your local team.
