Airbus picked up more commitments for its A320 new engine option aircraft on the second day of the Paris Air Show.
The European jet maker’s deals include:
40 A320neo jets from JetBlue Airways. This is a tentative deal. The agreement will result in JetBlue converting 30 of its current orders for A320 aircraft to the larger A321 model with enhanced wingtip devices called Sharklets.
10 A320neo and 15 A320 jets from Garuda Indonesia. This is a tentative deal.
50 A320neo jets from CIT Group. This order hasn’t been finalized.
Six A321neo aircraft from TransAsia Airways. Airbus said this is a firm order.
