EVERETT – Think of it as a bank on wheels.
With one year of business under its belt, Mountain Pacific Bank is doing its best to offer services that will bring in new customers as well as keep its existing ones satisfied. One of those services is through the bank’s “mobile branch.”
It’s essentially banking brought to you by car.
“The customers we have on it just love it,” said Mark Duffy, president of Mountain Pacific.
As a new bank, Mountain Pacific doesn’t have branches conveniently located to all of its customers. The bank operates from a single location, at 38th Street and Broadway in Everett. That’s not exactly a short drive for companies in, say, Arlington or Edmonds.
Mountain Pacific decided to bring the bank to its customers via a Scion, driven by Duffy’s son, Marcus. The mobile branch provides customers with convenient service without the hassle of driving to the bank.
As part of its mobile banking services, Mountain Pacific picks up deposits for customers as far south as Mill Creek and Edmonds and as far north as Granite Falls and Arlington. The bank also offers notary service through its mobile branch.
Duffy estimates the bank serves 15 customers with its mobile services but sees room for more. To find out more about Mountain Bank and its mobile branch, go to its Web site at mountainpacificbank.com.
