EllRoy Oster, superintendent for Pacific Earth Works Inc. in Monroe, was recently honored for 25 years of service with the landscaping contractor. Oster has been involved in many large projects, including the Gates Foundation Green Roof and the Brightwater Treatment Plant wetland.

Juan Cruz, foreman, was recently recognized for 20 years; Mike Brandvold, project manager, for 17 years; and Rick DeFrancesco, also a foreman, for 13.

Jennifer Delgado has been hired as an insurance agent at the AAA Service Center in Lynnwood, at 4100 Alderwood Mall Blvd., Suite 8. She can be reached at 425-744-7306. She will specialize in personal policies for auto, home and life insurance.

Dale Terwedo of Terwedo Financial Services in Edmonds has earned certification as an accredited domestic partnership advisor. He said he is one of only two people with the certification in Washington and one of 120 in the nation. The training aids him in helping domestic partners with their financial planning.

Jake O’Banion of Monroe, manager of the Country Financial Agency of Bellevue, recently received the Diamond International Management Award for sales and service to clients.

Economic Alliance Snohomish County will hold a networking session at the Port of Everett’s new Waterfront Center from 4:30 to 5:45 p.m. June 28 at 1205 Craftsman Way in Everett. It will be in conjunction with a harbor cruise from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Call 425-257-3222.

Residents of Sultan can receive free paper shredding from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. June 17-18 at First Street and Alder Avenue. The service is offered by the city with money from a state grant. Residents should bring bills, medical records, and other private paperwork. The shredded paper will be recycled.

The Technology Alliance’s Innovation Showcase will be held starting at 3 p.m. July 13 at Rainier Square Conference Center, 1301 Fifth Ave., Seattle.
