Jacob Stokes and Jeremy Davis have joined the Edmonds Environmental Group of Landau Associates of Edmonds. Stokes is a geologist and Davis is a senior project engineer. James Raspen has joined the company’s Portland office as a staff engineer. The company has promoted nine employees in Edmonds: Joseph Kalmar to principal engineer, Chip Halbert to senior associate engineer, Chad McMullen to senior project engineer, M. Birkan Bayrak and Colette Griffith to project engineer, Dylan Frazer to senior staff geologist, Martin Valeri to senior staff engineer, Christophe Venot to senior staff scientist and Kathryn Hartley to senior project scientist.
Pierce Kiltoff JKA Well Drilling in Monroe has successfully completed examination by the National Ground Water Association and is now a certified well driller.

The former Popeye’s Kayak and Marine has moved into the Port of Everett’s former marina office on the waterfront, expanding to offer kayak rentals and supplies, tours, food and beverages. It has changed its name to Aqua Trek Kayak and Marine Center.
Sumitomo Forestry Seattle Inc. of Bellevue has purchased Canyon Creek Cabinet Co. in Monroe from WoodOne Co. of Hiroshima, Japan. Sumitomo is a publicly traded wood products company based in Toyko, with consolidated revenue of $8 billion. The sale is expected to be complete in July.
