Robert Severns has been elected to the board of directors at Washington Banking Co. and Whidbey Island Bank, the company’s wholly owned subsidiary. Severns, an Oak Harbor resident, is the president of Chicago Title Insurance Company, Island Division, in Oak Harbor. He also serves on the Oak Harbor City Council.
Jeffrey Decker has been elected to the board of directors for D.A. Davidson &Co., the largest full-service investment firm based in the Northwest. Decker works in the company’s Everett office as a senior vice president and financial consultant and brings 18 years of experience to his board position.

Washington State University Snohomish County Extension will present Ties to the Land, a two-part workshop designed to help landowners plan for the future of their land.
