The Boeing Co. received a cancellation for six of its 787 Dreamliner jets on order, the company said Thursday.
Boeing did not identify the airline or leasing company that cancelled the order for six 787s. The company updated its orders and deliveries Web site this morning.
So far this year, Boeing has logged in an order for 25 of its 787s, from United Airlines, and cancelled out orders for 16 Dreamliners. The company plans to deliver its first Dreamliner later this year, more than two years behind schedule.
Also this week, Boeing picked up an order for two 777s from an unidentified customer and noted that FedEx was the customer who ordered four 777s last week.
Through May 11, Boeing has 108 net orders on its books for the year.
