Boeing handed over 64 aircraft to customers in May, including seven 787s and four 747s.
The company resumed 787 deliveries in mid-May following a halt on Dreamliner deliveries due to the jet’s grounding by the Federal Aviation Administration.
Dreamliner deliveries in May included two to 787 launch customer All Nippon Airways, one to Japan Airlines, one to China Southern, one to LOT Polish Airlines and two to Thomson Airways.
Despite the 787’s grounding earlier this year, Boeing vows to deliver at least 60 Dreamliners this year.
In May, Boeing delivered three 747-8 freighters and one 747-8 passenger plane, which was the 50th 747-8 to be delivered.
Other deliveries included nine 777s, four 767s and 40 737s. Through the end of May, Boeing had delivered 245 jets.
Airbus delivered 45 jets last month and holds a slight lead over Boeing with 247 aircraft delivered in the first five months of 2013. Over the same period, Airbus has booked 493 net orders to Boeing’s 428 (as of May 28).
