The Boeing Co. has picked Curtiss-Wright Corp. for work supporting its 787 facility in South Carolina.
“True to Curtiss-Wright’s position as a leader in engineered products and services for the aerospace industry, we remain confident that we will perform at the highest level to support Boeing and its 787 global customer base,” said Martin R. Benante, CEO of Curtiss-Wright Corporation.
Curtiss-Wright already provides motion control and metal treatment services to Boeing for its 737, 747, 767 and 777 airplanes. The company will produce specialty components to Boeing site in North Charleston, where Boeing has set up a second 787 final assembly line.
