EVERETT – The Boeing Co. has won an order for 17 of its single aisle 737 jets from Aviation Capital Group, the company said Monday.
The order, valued at $1 billion at list prices, previously was listed on Boeing’s orders and deliveries Web site and attributed to an unidentified customer.
Aviation Capital, a leasing company, has ordered a total of 81 Boeing airplanes, including 76 Boeing 737s and five 787 Dreamliner jets. The order is Aviation Capital’s eighth in the past 24 months.
Through April 16, Boeing has picked up a total of 338 net orders for 2008.
