Foggy Noggin releases 1,000th batch of beer
Foggy Noggin Brewing of Bothell has released its 1,000th batch. Appropriately named Batch 1,000, the beer made its debut on Saturday. This milestone brew is a Russian imperial-style stout featuring rye, malt, oats and Dominican Republic cocoa nibs. The beer started with an original gravity of 1.100 and has weighed in at 11.6 percent alcohol by volume.
KSER radio adds Rick Steves travel show to weekend lineup
KSER radio has added a new, hour-long travel show to its weekly lineup: “Travel with Rick Steves.” The author of 30 travel guidebooks and longtime host of the “Rick Steves’ Europe” TV series will talk about travel and cultures across every continent on the show. “Travel with Rick Steves” can be heard every Sunday morning at 9 a.m.on KSER, 90.7 FM or KXIR, 89.9 FM or listen online at KSER.org beginning April 4.
