Foggy Noggin Brewing to hold Santa fundraiser for Northwest Harvest
Santa will be available for pictures at Foggy Noggin Brewing in Bothell. From 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday in the Foggy Noggin tasting room, a donation to Northwest Harvest will get you and your family a portrait with Santa. Kids and pets are welcome at this event. Minimum wage workers to see pay increase to $11 an hour in January
The Washington Department of Labor & Industries has confirmed that the minimum wage in Washington will increase to $11 an hour starting on Jan. 1, 2017. This applies to all jobs, including those in agriculture. Workers under 16 years old can be paid 85 percent of the adult minimum wage. Seattle, Tacoma, and the City of SeaTac have higher minimum wage rates for 2017.
