Briefs: HopeWorks Station receives $300,000 grant

JPMorgan Chase Foundation has awarded a $300,000 grant to HopeWorks Station, a transit-oriented development and workforce development center accessible to residents of affordable housing throughout Snohomish County. In general, the grant will support community, transit-oriented and social enterprise development in the community. HopeWorks Social Enterprises is an affiliate of non-profit Housing Hope.

County public works employees to present at industry conferences

In the next few months, Snohomish County Public Works employees will be sharing their knowledge and expertise with their peers as they both attend and present at three different industry conferences. Bothell’s Alder BioPharm presents data on medicine at migraine conference

Bothell-based Alder BioPharmaceuticals has presented data from Phase 2b and Phase 1 clinical trials of its ALD403 product for the prevention of migraine as well as preclinical data from a case study of ALD403 and other CGRP-antibodies at the fifth European Headache and Migraine Trust International Congress in Glasgow, Scotland. A further study on the product will be initiated later this year.
