Kusler’s Compounding pharmacy tech in Snohomish recognized

Professional Compounding Centers of America has named Michelle Frediani of Kusler’s Compounding Pharmacy in Snohomish as its Pharmacy Technician of the Month for February. The award honors technicians who have demonstrated excellent service to their patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacy colleagues. Frediani has been a Compounding Pharmacy technician at Kusler’s Compounding Pharmacy for nearly 10 years.

EvCC awarded grant for customized employee training

The State Board for Community and Technical Colleges has awarded $1.1 million in matching grants for customized employee training programs for local businesses. Royal Window and Door Profiles, through Everett Community College and Green River College, was awarded $41,400 for employee training with a goal of improved quality, reduced attrition and increased promotional opportunities for participants.

PNAA to hold workshop on government contract compliance

The Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance February Breakfast Meeting features a workshop on government contract compliance. Learn about the most current audit focus areas and exposures faced by government contractors. The event is from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Renton. Economic Alliance Snohomish County is accepting nominations for its awards presentation at the Annual Meeting on May 12 at Tulalip Resort Casino. Nominations are open to the public through April 1 here or at the EASC website. The Herald Business Journal is also presenting its 2016 Executive and Entrepreneur of the Year awards at the event.
