Safeway to hire 100 employees for new Everett store
Safeway plans to hire more than 100 new employees over the next several weeks to staff the new store at 7601 Evergreen Way in Everett. The company is seeking to fill full- and part-time positions. Positions are available in all departments including deli, meat, customer service, bakery and produce. Open interviews are currently being held Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the store. CORT Party Rental opens new showroom in Everett
CORT Party Rental has opened a new, state-of-the-art design center and distribution facility at 6101 Associated Blvd. in Everett. CORT Party Rental’s Everett Design Center and Warehouse blends CORT’s two party rental brands, ABC Special Event Rentals and AA Party Rentals, under the CORT Party Rental name. This new store combines and replaces the Mukilteo and Mountlake Terrace showrooms.
Port asks for bids to move historic Weyerhaeuser building
The Port of Everett has issued a Request for Bids to relocate one of Everett’s iconic waterfront structures — the historic Weyerhaeuser Building. The building, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, will move from the Port’s South Marina along West Marine View Drive to the Port’s new Boxcar Park in the Central Marina at water’s edge.
