New hire at Stantec in Lynnwood

Linnea Granryd has joined the lighting design and consulting team in Stantec’s Lynnwood office. In this role, she will support the group by producing lighting calculations, energy code compliance reviews, renderings and graphic packages, fixture schedules, hand sketches, mock-ups, project cost opinions, and fixture cut sheet packages. She will also participate in developing lighting designs and project deliverables.

Lynnwood mayor to give state of city address

Join Lynnwood Mayor Nicola Smith for the 2016 State of the City Address from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Lynnwood Convention Center. This event is free to attend and open to all. Special guest speakers will include council president M. Christopher Boyer, state Rep. Cindy Ryu, and Lynnwood business owner Rosario Reyes.

Microbreweries to participate in Blues and Brews event at Marysville

The third Thursday of each month finds Blues and Brews at the Marysville Opera House. A local microbrewery is featured at each of these events. Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available for purchase. Entry is $5 at the door. The Marysville Opera House is located at 1225 Third St.. Snohomish chamber meeting to cover business and security

Business and Security in the Cloud is the topic of the next Snohomish Chamber meeting from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 21 at Faith Church, 1220 22nd St., Snohomish. The public is welcome to attend.
