Relationship manager hired by Peoples Bank in Everett

Peoples Bank announced that Anan Amador joined the bank as relationship manager of the Everett Financial Center. Most recently, he held the position of senior relationship banker at Union Bank. Amador was born and raised in the Philippines and studied psychology at the University of the City of Manila. He is Treasurer for the Seattle Bituin Lions Club and a board member at the Carl Gipson Senior Center.

Three Marysville businesses hold joint grand opening

Report: Families can save on funeral costs by shopping around

A comprehensive survey of funeral home prices in Washington state demonstrated that a family can save thousands of dollars on cremation or burial simply by shopping around. The 2014 Funeral Home Price Survey by the People’s Memorial Education Fund discovered that cremation prices vary by as much as 700 percent and burial prices vary by over 400 percent.
