PUD: Keep water heater no higher than 120 degrees
The PUD reminds customers to set home water heaters no higher than 120 degrees. This temperature setting reduces the risk of accidental scalding, especially to children and the elderly. It also saves energy and helps reduce your utility bill. With fall weather on the horizon, it’s also a good time to check your furnace filter and change it if needed.
