Kurt Addicott has been promoted to director of airport engineering at Reid Middleton, Inc. Addicott, an airport engineer with Reid Middleton for seven years, replaces Reinhart Jung, who has served as director for the past 18 years. Jung has mentored Addicott for two years in preparation for the transition, and remains with the firm as principal engineer.
Longtime designer Tricia Soderblom has returned to the staff of Lorinda’s Salon, Spa and Store in Mill Creek, owner Lorinda Warner said. Soderblom has 17 years of experience and is an expert in all hair services offered at the business, including facial waxing, some body waxing and manicures and pedicures.
Global Spectrum, operators of the Comcast Arena in Everett, has named Mark Clark the facility’s chief engineer and Lynn Lorio as event manager. Clark will oversee general maintenance, engineering, ice plant refrigeration and other related systems for Comcast Community Ice Rink, Comcast Arena and the Edward D. Hansen Conference Center. Lorio will serve as liaison between facility clients and internal departments managing events.
AAA Washington has hired Barbara Buquing as a service center manager. Buquing is responsible for managing AAA’s branch offices in Lynnwood and Everett. Buquing has more than 20 years of experience in travel and banking. She lives in the Mill Creek-Bothell area.

Everett-based Positive Women’s Network has changed its name to Citrine Health. Citrine, pronounced “si-treen,” is crystalline quartz thought to have healing properties. The organization, formed in 1996, provides health-care services to women and their families and operates the Women’s Wellness Center at 2817 Rockefeller Ave.
Snohomish County Young Professionals Network, an Everett Chamber of Commerce program, marks its first anniversary this month. The network has put together a 12-person advisory committee and grown from a dozen members to more than 50. The group tackles issues such as an aging work force, technological advancement and creating a more desirable place to work for the younger generation. Kimberly-Clark Corp.’s Everett pulp and paper mill was cited as a 2009 Energy Star Partner of the Year by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The award recognizes Kimberly-Clark’s efforts to increase energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions. The company estimates it increased its worldwide energy efficiency by 3.2 percent in 2008 over 2007, while reducing its greenhouse gas emissions by 2.2 percent.
