Troy McClelland has been named CEO and president of a new organization that will be created with the merger of the Everett and South Snohomish County chambers and the county’s Economic Development Commission. He starts today. McClelland is a port commissioner and a former Fluke Corp. executive.

Joe Neal of Sultan is the new district ranger in the Skykomish Ranger District. He last worked in Wyoming. Lesley Tullis is the new recreation manager and ski area permit administrator for the district.

Andrea Rewitz has been promoted to director of regional operations for Mortgage Advisory Group of Everett. She will oversee a variety of sales and operations functions.

Lawyers Barry Meyers and Steven Avery of the Everett firm of Meyers and Avery have been accredited by the Veterans Administration to represent veterans and their spouses seeking veteran’s benefits. They offer elder law services to clients and their families.

Jarred Bohn, a staff accountant with Everett’s Eastham Foster CPAs, has met the qualifications to receive his license as a certified public accountant. He is a graduate of Central Washington University. Alex Olson has joined the firm as a staff accountant. He is a graduate of the University of Washington.

Bob Sparling, a principal in Seattle’s Sparling, has retired. Sparling is an electrical and lighting firm that has an office in Lynnwood and works throughout the Pacific Northwest. Bob Sparling worked for the company for 36 years and spent more than 20 years on its board.

New business

ACI Clinic & Wellness Center of Kirkland will celebrate the grand opening of its Lynnwood clinic on Jan. 29. Formerly named Acupuncture & Chiropractic Integrative Clinic, ACI focuses on pain relief and holistic health solutions. The new clinic is at 18205 Alderwood Mall Parkway, Unit K.

Dwayne Lane’s new Arlington Chevrolet at 21015 Highway 9 will hold a celebration and open house from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday . Refreshments, door prizes, and entertainment are planned.

Everett’s Intermec Technologies Corp. was selected by the Washington Technology Industry Association as a finalist in group’s upcoming awards ceremony. Intermec was selected in the Innovative Manufactured Product of the Year category. The group has named Debra Strong of the Everett School District as a finalist for Excellence in Teaching in science.
