The Everett Aquasox recently partnered with the Boys &Girls Clubs of Snohomish County to collect new and gently used baseball equipment. The equipment is being accepted at AquaSox home games and the AquaSox office, along with John L. Scott in Mukilteo and State Farm Insurance in Lynnwood. A free ticket voucher will be given with each donation.

Whidbey Island Bank recently gave a $1,000 grant to Village Community Services of Arlington.

Sierra Pacific Industries has donated $10,000 to the Everett Community College Foundation. The California-based company is looking to purchase the Riverside Business Park site from the Port of Everett.

The Port of Everett will donate $2,500 to Everett’s Fourth of July Community Celebration and $2,500 to the Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival’s Run-A-Muk, a 5K/10K race.
