Be willing to try, try again
“Entrepreneurs need to have thick skin and an ability to keep generating ideas until they finally resonate with investors,” says Joel Smith, president of Edmonds-based Forward Mobility. “You have to have unbelievable persistence.”
He says whether you’re offering a product or service, you should be OK with having the venture stumble at the onset. “The first time you do it, it’s not going to be good enough. You have to do it over and over.”
