LYNNWOOD — A Bothell firm with 260 employees is moving its headquarters to the North Business Park and intends to add 75 workers by the end of the year, officials said Monday.
Receivables Performance Management, a privately owned collection agency, employs people from Everett to Tacoma.
“While we cannot control escalating fuel prices, we’re committed to providing our employees with commuting options, and that includes relocating out headquarters along a main metro transit line for those who choose to utilize public transportation routes,” said Howard George, president and CEO.
George’s company, established in 2002, is moving to 20816 44th Ave. W. It is leasing 30,000 square feet.
David Kleitsch, Lynnwood’s economic development director, said the city has focused on attracting new businesses such as RPM. He said the company looked at other cities along the I-5 corridor and ultimately selected Lynnwood for its desirable location and the convenient business services available for employees.
George said his company was committed to “providing our employees with state-of-the-art technology to do their jobs.”
The Class A business park has been rewired and has updated services, Kleitsch said.
He said George’s announcement is good news because it shows that more companies are selecting his city as “a truly cost-competitive location in the Seattle-Bellevue area.”
“That’s truly exciting,” he said. “What people are looking at is the ability to be close to transit and auto and to have things to do, like going to lunch or buying business or personal services.”
