Panama’s Copa Airlines is increasing its order of Boeing Co. 737s by two, the carrier said Tuesday.
The airline placed an order for Boeing single-aisle aircraft in July with options. Today’s order increases Copa’s total order to 15 this year. Copa said these two 737-800s will be delivered in the second half of 2010.
“The Next-Generation 737 plays a major role in achieving our goal of offering our passengers world-class service, the most extensive route network in Latin America and one of the youngest fleets in the continent,” said Pedro Heilbron, CEO of Copa Airlines.
