‘Daddy’s Plane’ — Readers’ 787 photos

The Herald has talented photographers, who did an amazing job of capturing the first flight of Boeing’s 787 on Tuesday.

But this photo of two-year-old Michael Palmer is priceless.

The little aviation fan showed up early Tuesday morning to see the first flight of the plane his father, also named Michael Palmer, painted.

Little Michael’s father tells me that his son knows the 787 is his “daddy’s plane.” Michael, who lives in Everett, was “thrilled” to see the Dreamliner’s first flight, his father said.
