EVERETT — The newly named Economic Alliance Snohomish County, aligning the Economic Development Council of Snohomish County and the Everett Area and South Snohomish County chambers of commerce, presents Perspectives on the Economy, a facilitated panel discussion on the state of the economy.
The luncheon will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. May 4 at Lynnwood Convention Center.
The event will feature a panel including Washington state chief economist Arun Raha; Michael Parks, a regional economist and editor emeritus of Marple’s Letter; and Cort O’Haver, executive vice president of commercial banking at Umpqua Holdings Corp. Collectively, the panel will give attendees a glimpse of the current economic climate as well as a forecast of what’s to come from their standpoint. The panel will be moderated by The Daily Herald Co. publisher and president Allen Funk, and the event will be hosted by EASC CEO and President Troy McClelland.
In addition to the panel, the Snohomish County Business Journal will present their 2010 Executive of the Year Award.
