Toastmaster groups to participate in Community Day event at Everett Mall
Aspiring Leaders Toastmasters, formerly Gipson Gabbers Toastmasters, and Everett Pacesetters Toastmasters are participating in the upcoming Community Day event from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 24 at the Everett Mall. Toastmasters’ members from both clubs will be on hand to discuss how Toastmasters can help people improve their speaking and leadership skills.
Washington contingent attends Farborough airshow this week
A dozen Washington companies and eight partner organizations are preparing to celebrate a Century of Know-How in Washington State Aerospace at the 2016 Farnborough International Airshow this week in Hampshire, England. Washington’s 39-member delegation will join an estimated 1,500 exhibitors hosted in a record 22 international pavilions this year. Boeing will have a special pavilion celebrating their centennial year.
County seeks people interested in rural tourism
Community leaders, tourism entrepreneurs, tour operators, outdoor enthusiasts, lodging property owners, restauranteurs, and anyone with an interest in strengthening the local economy through Snohomish County rural tourism are encouraged to participate in action teams that are currently being formed.
