Employees from local spa Grove and Kane will be traveling on July 27 to Mary’s Place, a homeless shelter in Seattle, to offer facials and eyebrow waxing to the residents to help boost their confidence and morale. Grove and Kane is located at 520 128th St. SW, Suite A6, Everett.
Wells Fargo Foundation gives to St. Vincent de Paul
St. Vincent de Paul’s North Sound Council has announced receiving a donation of $1,500 from the Wells Fargo Foundation. These funds will purchase beds for children who are otherwise sleeping on the floor in their homes. St. Vincent de Paul is unique in that 100 percent of the funds received for its programs go directly into that program.
Alderwood Barnes & Noble to hold Harry Potter party
Barnes & Noble’s Alderwood store will host a special Countdown to Midnight Party starting at 8 p.m. July 30 to lead up to the release of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts One & Two, a special rehearsal edition script book, that goes on sale at midnight.
