Join the Marysville Tulalip Chamber of Commerce on June 24 as it presents its fourth annual business and community leadership awards.
The chamber’s annual awards program was instituted to celebrate the accomplishments of area businesses and individuals who epitomize the spirit of leadership, excellent business practices and community involvement. Please join us to recognize outstanding leaders at our special Business Before Hours Awards program.
We will honor those who best represent the qualities described below for each category:
Business of the Year: This award recognizes a member business that has made a substantial contribution to the chamber and the greater Marysville-Tulalip community. Criteria for the award include leadership shown by its employees, community service, corporate citizenship, volunteerism, business growth, customer service, innovative business practices and adherence to high business and ethical standards.
Business Leader of the Year: This award recognizes a member who has made a substantial contribution to the chamber and the greater Marysville-Tulalip community. Criteria for the award include community service, volunteerism, business practices and demonstrated leadership on local business and community issues.
Elected Official of the Year: This award shall be given to an elected official at any level of government who has demonstrated a strong commitment to the chamber, its businesses and the local community, and who has substantially improved the business climate and encouraged economic development in the greater Marysville-Tulalip community.
Volunteer of the Year: This award recognizes a member or volunteer of the chamber who has made a substantial contribution of time to the chamber and the greater Marysville-Tulalip community.
Howard-Millikan Chairman’s Award: The Howard-Millikan Chairman’s award is named for Mike Howard and Ian Millikan, past chairmen of the Marysville Tulalip Chamber of Commerce whose longstanding commitment to the chamber and leadership on business and community issues made a substantial improvement.
Be prepared for networking opportunities before and after the program. Bring at least 50 business cards to give away and literature to promote your business.
