If you’re a new employer wondering about your duties when it comes to worker safety and labor laws, help is just a few days away.
The state Department of Labor and Industries is holding a free workshop this Thursday from 9 am to 11:30 am. It’s at 729 100th Street SE. in Everett, and you can register here.
What’s it all about? The workshop will cover employers’ rights and responsibilities and give an overview of L&I services.
Ron Langley, L&I’s small-business liaison, describes it this way: “This workshop will save you time, money and trouble down the road, and take the mystery out of the various things an employer does with L&I.”
And just so you know: I have it on good authority there will be snacks.
