Workers at the Goodrich plant in Everett did their part to get Boeing’s 747-8 Freighter going.
Earlier this week, Goodrich readied the new 747-8 Freighter’s landing gear to transport down the road to Boeing’s factory.
Boeing has been making steady progress on its updated jumbo jet. Boeing’s chief executive Jim McNerney said this week that the first 747-8 is 75 percent complete.
The new 747-8 is expected to make its first flight later this year.
