Peoples Bank named Melissa Siv as the new branch manager of the Mill Creek Office, located at 15506 Main St., Suite 105 in the Mill Creek Town Center. Siv has 10 years of retail banking experience, most recently as the operations manager at the Bank’s Ballard Financial Center. As a Snohomish County native, she is familiar with the Mill Creek market and customers.

PlasmaLab, AquaSox team up on allergy-free section

PlasmaLab International is partnering with Everett AquaSox on their first ever No Nuts Zone seating section at three games this season — this past Saturday and then games on Aug. 25 and 28. The No Nuts Zone section is an allergy-friendly, all-ages seating section for those with severe or life-threatening peanut allergies. Everett-based PlasmaLab assists research into allergy and auto-immune conditions.

Wienerschnitzel offers 55 cent hot dogs for anniversary

On Monday, Wienerschnitzel is slashing the price of three classic hot dogs to 55-cents each in celebration of the company’s 55th anniversary. This is less than half of the everyday price. The all-day deal is valid for Original Chili Dog, Mustard Dog or Kraut Dog. July is also National Hot Dog Month.
