OLYMPIA — The Postal Service will hold a ceremony Friday in the Capitol Rotunda to introduce the new Washington state forever stamp.
It features the state flag and evergreen trees.
The stamp is part of the last set of 10 stamps in the Flags of Our Nation series. The set includes stamps from Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming, the Virgin Island plus a stamp in honor of the Stars and Stripes.
The stamps will be sold in 50-stamp coils with five of each stamp in the set. The coils go on sale Friday at post offices.
