The Boeing Co. could get $200,000 from taxpayers for putting its new services division’s headquarters in Plano, Texas, the Dallas Morning News reports.
Plano’s city council is considering approving the cash grant, the newspaper reports.
Late last year, the company announced the launch of its new Boeing Global Services division to expand its share of the lucrative aftermarket business providing parts, support and other services to airlines and other customers.
The headquarters will consist of a small group of about 50 workers reporting to Stanley Deal, head of the new division.
