Leaders at Airbus and its parent company, European Aeronautic Defence and Space Co., hammered out a new organizational system Monday.
They simplified a cumbersome, dual management structure that had German and French officials sharing the top positions at both companies.
As Spiegel reports, the streamlined management system hasn’t stopped political power plays of Germany and France. Berlin will seek “golden shares” in EADS, giving the country veto power over major decisions at EADS or Airbus, the publication reports.
