Regional Ernst & Young Entrepreneurs of the Year

Ernst & Young has selected its Pacific Northwest Entrepreneurs of the Year, leading up to announcement of the national winners in November.

The two local candidates – Everett’s WaterTechtonics and Bothell’s Winshuttle, didn’t make the cut.

Here are the regional winners, based on excellence and success in such areas as innovation, financial performance, and commitment to their business and community:

Ben Huh, Cheezburger, Seattle, media & entertainment;

Mitchell Gold, Dendreon Corp., Seattle, emerging sciences;

Gurpreet Singh, Edifecs Inc., Bellevue, technology;

Tim Beaver and John Graham, Global Diving & Salvage Inc., Seattle, transportation and logiistics;

Dudley Slater, Integra Telecom, Portland, communications;

Robert Bessler, Sound Physicians, Tacoma, service.

The college is accepting applications for bachelor programs in computer science as well as robotics and artificial intelligence.
