Snohomish County names deputy Public Works director, county engineer

Doug McCormick was named Snohomish County’s new Public Works deputy director and county engineer effective July 1. He will oversee day-to-day operations and long-range planning for the construction and maintenance of county roads.

McCormick, who was promoted to Public Works Transportation and Environment Services Division director in November 2016, has worked more than three decades in transportation infrastructure planning.
