Being your own boss, building a legacy — that sounds appealing, right? So you start planning to launch your own business.
You’ll probably run into some questions along the way.
The Small Business Administration is hosting a Web chat that could lead to good advice for entrepreneurs new to the start-up world. Counselors will walk participants through what it takes to start a business where you can find help, what a good business plan looks like and how to find funding.
WHO: Barry McKinley, SCORE Counselor in Orange County, California. He’ll answer questions about what first steps to take to start a business, and how and when to get a small business idea off the ground, according to the SBA.
WHEN: April 22, 2010, 10 am to 11am PST.
HOW: Join the chat by going to www.sba.gov, and clicking “Online Business Chat.” You can post questions before April 22 by visiting this page.
