LYNNWOOD – The Herald, Evergreen Bank and the United Way of Snohomish County are among the winners of this year’s business awards presented by the South Snohomish County Chamber of Commerce.
The winners will be honored at the chamber’s annual KeyBank Business Excellence Awards luncheon Aug. 3.
The awards program recognizes businesses that exemplify the chamber’s stated mission of promoting economic vitality and a diverse business community, said Jean Hales, the chamber’s president.
This year’s recipients are:
United Way of Snohomish County will be honored for its business practices and service to the community.
The Herald of Everett, in the large business category, for its community service commitment.
Evergreen Bank, based in Lynnwood, in the category of 26 to 100 employees, for its contributions of time and resources to the communities in which it operates.
Firstline Office Supply of Lynnwood, with fewer than 25 employees, for its service to other small businesses and the chamber.
Snohomish County Roofing of Lynnwood, also with fewer than 25 employees, for partnering with fellow chamber members.
Sundquist Homes of Lynnwood, for its efforts to encourage economic vitality and its support of affordable housing initiatives.
The awards luncheon, scheduled for 11:30 a.m. at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Lynnwood, will include keynote speaker Bob Drewel, executive director of the Puget Sound Regional Council.
