The Boeing Co.’s rival, Airbus, picked up a huge order of 61 jets from a Spanish tourism group.
Groupo Marsans, the fourth largest tourism group in Europe, placed a firm order with Airbus. The order includes 10 A350s, four A380s, five A330s and 42 A320 family jets.
“This order, which basically covers all our product range, including the most recent ones such as the A380 and A350, represents a major vote of confidence,” said John Leahy, Airbus Chief Operating Officer Customers.
