A Sprouts Farmers Market, which offers natural and organic products, will open Aug. 15 in Mill Creek’s Gateway Shopping Center at the intersection of the Bothell-Everett Highway and 132nd Street SE.
The new Mill Creek store will be the the grocery chain’s first Washington location.
The 30,000 square-foot store will feature a selection of local products from Washington producers, including Blue Lotus Chai, Ellenos Yogurt, Seattle Chocolate, Kombucha Town and Uncle Woody’s Kettle Corn.
As part of Sprouts’ commitment to “zero waste,” the Mill Creek store will donate unsold and edible groceries to Food Lifeline through the company’s Food Rescue program.
The Phoenix-based grocery chain, in business for 16 years, employs more than 28,000. It operates more than 300 stores in 17 states.
