MUKILTEO — Stemtree Education Center, a franchise that offers after-school and summer programs in science and technology for students grades K-12, will hold a grand opening and open house at 5 p.m. July 17.
Stemtree, which opened last month, is at 10100 Mukilteo Speedway in Mukilteo
This is the company’s second franchise, said Stemtree Mukilteo owners Sabrina and Eric Stewart. The company is based in Vienna, Virginia.
Stemtree offers supervised projects and experiments, along with coding, electrical engineering and robotics for all ages.
Traditional teaching methods and lectures don’t always resonate with kids in an after-school or summer environment, said Abdelghani Bellaachia Stemtree’s founder.
Fees are based on age, use and program, Sabrina Stewart said. For more information go to www.stemtree.com/mukilteo.
