Thai Airways will acquire up to 37 jets by 2017, the airline said Monday.
The carrier plans to buy 15 new jets and to lease 22 additional aircraft. Thai Airways will buy six Boeing Co. 777s to be delivered between 2014 and 2015. It also will buy four Airbus A350-900s and five A320s.
Additionally, Thai Airways will lease eight 787s, eight A350s and six A320s from a variety of leasing companies.
