The Port of Everett will host three sailing ships this summer at its south visitor’s dock near Anthony’s Homeport restaurant, starting with The Lady Washington and Hawaiian Chieftain which will be here today.
During the weeklong stay, the Lady Washington will offer free dockside tours and educational programs aboard the ship. The ships will also sell tickets for three-hour sailing battles and adventure sails. Visit www.historicalseaport.org for more information. The Lady Washington was one of the vessels used in the movie “Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl.”
The historic schooner Adventuress, a 133-foot wooden vessel named a national landmark in 1989, will visit from June 17-24. It will offer free tours dockside from 9 a.m. until noon June 19. For more information or reservations, visit www.soundexp.org.
