About these results
National election results are compiled by The Washington Post and The Associated Press. State and local results are compiled by The Daily Herald based on data from Snohomish County and the Office of the Secretary of State of Washington. This page will be updated periodically until results are certified.
Results exclude uncontested races. Some percentages do not add up to 100 due to rounding or write-in votes.
Washingtonians vote by mail. The deadline for counties to receive ballots, and for mailed ballots to be postmarked, was Nov. 8, 2016. The deadline for Washington county canvassing boards to submit certified results to the Office of the Secretary of State is Nov. 29, 2016. The secretary of state is to certify all results no later than Dec. 8, 2016. The U.S. Electoral College presidential results are counted by Congress on Jan. 6, 2017.
