EVERETT — Detectives are following up this week after an Everett man was shot Friday night in his car.
The man, 28, is expected to survive his injuries, Everett police officer Aaron Snell said Tuesday. He received at least one gunshot wound to the neck or lower face. Over the weekend, he was listed in stable condition.
The man “has not provided many details” about what happened, Snell said.
The shooting was reported after 7 p.m. Friday in the 6500 block of Olympic Drive, just north of Madison Street. Everett police released a few additional details Tuesday.
“We don’t have any concrete evidence to indicate this was a drive-by,” Snell said. “The detectives are still working on some leads they have.”
The man’s car was impounded pending a search warrant.
