Front Porch: Family Fun Nights set for Clark Park in Everett

Enjoy Family Fun Nights from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays through Aug. 4 at Clark Park, 2400 Lombard Ave., Everett. There will be games and music. The events are geared at families with children ages 5 to 12. For more information, call Everett Parks and Recreation at 425-257-8300.

Art in the Park: All Aboard, a nonprofit that serves adults with special needs, invites the public to its annual Around the World Art in the Park, a free event for all ages to be held 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Camp Patterson at Thornton A. Sullivan Park, 11405 W Silver Lake Road, Everett. Enjoy arts and crafts from around the world, face painting and a scavenger hunt. For more information, go to www.allaboardwa.org. The Everett Cultural Arts Commission also is a sponsor.

Comment on fees: The Lynnwood Transportation Benefit District is considering a change to the current $20 fee for vehicle registration. A public hearing on the matter is planned for 7 p.m. July 27 at City Hall, 19100 44th Ave. W. People who want to submit written comments must do so before the meeting starts. The board could decide to take a vote that night after hearing public comments. It has the authority to increase the fee to $40. Any changes wouldn’t go into effect for at least six months.
