The 10-year celebration of the Everett Station was Friday and in a very cool move the people in charge decided to have Everett band 20 Riverside play the event. The banquet room at the Everett Station was an unlikely place for concert but the 20 Riverside boys took advantage of the beautiful 4th floor view and rocked the all ages party.
“We wanted 20 Riverside because of their connection to Everett Transit, their dedication to the city of Everett and because they play great music” said Kimberly Williams who helped organize the event and is a fan of 20 Riverside.
One night last summer 20 Riverside allowed me to sit in on band practice and record a 42 minute interview with them. Below is a clip from the interview where the band talks briefly about the growing music scene in this community and how they got their name. More from this interview will be coming soon.
