“Minisodes” to the rescue: “Rescue Me” doesn’t want to keep its fans waiting.
The FX drama won’t return until next spring because of the recent writers’ strike, but the network will offer a taste of the series with 10 “minisodes” that will begin airing at 10 tonight.
The five-minute segments will feature creator and star Denis Leary, along with other cast members. Producers are hoping the short segments will keep viewers hooked until the fifth season of “Rescue Me” begins.
