Are you fascinated by old cemeteries?
You won’t want to miss “Walk Back in Time,” a day of tours at the Edmonds Memorial Cemetery &Columbarium.
The 6.5-acre cemetery was founded in 1891 and has become a scenic landmark with graves that date back to the Civil War era.
Fourteen of the city’s 34 mayors are buried there, including George Brackett, who governed the city in 1890.
Cemetery board members will give tours from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at 100th Avenue W. and 15th Street SW, one block north of the Edmonds QFC.
Street parking is available. Refreshments will be served.
